FAQ

Hi Margot! First question:

How can I use your fonts as a student?

We offer discounted licenses for students to use fonts in both personal and commercial projects during their studies. After graduation, personal projects started as a student can still use these fonts, but client projects will require a separate license. Teachers at accredited institutions can also access discounted fonts for teaching and non-commercial class projects. The student font pack includes an educational license that covers various media types.

Can I modify your fonts ?

Direct modifications to the font files are strictly prohibited and violate our EULA (End User License Agreement). Any unauthorized changes may result in legal action. To avoid such issues, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly so we can discuss your specific needs and find an appropriate solution together! studio@margotleveque.com

What’s your licensing model?

Our licensing is straightforward: we provide a single, comprehensive license that covers ALL applications, including desktop, web, print, app usage... Pricing is determined by one simple metric: the total size of your company. This is calculated based on the total number of employees in your organization, not the number of users who will directly work with our fonts.

With every license, you’ll receive both WOFF and OTF file formats to meet your needs seamlessly.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for any font purchases. Once a font has been purchased, it is considered a final sale.

What about trial licenses?

We provide a unique and complimentary trial license to our fonts, which enables users to evaluate and test the font software for the purpose of creating test documents, visuals, and web pages, as well as presenting them to clients or other interested parties. Our font files contain all the glyphs, making it easier for users to pitch projects, test the final font, and save time and effort.

Okay, so... Can I use it for free?

This trial license is intended for professionals to test the fonts internally only. However, it’s essential to note that all licensing terms and conditions must be strictly followed. Any external, commercial, or public use of the trial fonts is strictly prohibited.

Please be aware that our team conducts regular checks, and if we discover any websites or projects misusing trial fonts, we will take immediate legal action with our legal team to address the violation.

I’m a designer working on a project for a company. Who should buy the license?

The company is the sole license holder, but you can purchase the font files on behalf of your client as a payment facilitator. This option can save your client time and effort, allowing them to focus on their core business activities. However, it’s important to note that your client remains responsible for adhering to the licensing terms and conditions.

I bought a license before, but since then the size of my company has changed.

Do I need to upgrade my license?

To ensure that your license is up to date, regular checks are carried out on our side. Therefore, it is important to contact us to upgrade your fonts and keep your license valid.

Do I need to pay again for the update of one of your fonts?

Of course not! If you have purchased a license before and an update is available, you are entitled to it for free. Normally, you will receive it automatically. If you don’t receive it, don’t hesitate to contact us at studio@margotleveque.com.
